About Us

Outfront Events’ team is lead by Paul Mahon who has 20+ years of experience participating successfully in many sports at national and international level and has been on Irish teams at Mountain Bike Orienteering and at the Adventure Racing Team World Championships placing 16th in the latter.

Paul’s successes include Carlingford Lough Endurance Challenge (7 times), Ballyhoura Beast (4), National Adventure Marathon (2), Blessington Adventure Race (2), Outsider Adventure Race (2), Wicklow 24 hr Rogaine (6), Irish Adventure Challenge, Galeforce 12, Kilbroney Challenge, Annacurragh Bike Adventure, Lough Derg Monster (2),  Raid 24 Hr AR (3), Shamrock 24hr AR, TEAR 24 Hr AR (2), Dingle 24 Hr AR, Coast 2 Coast (2 Day pair) and several other team and solo adventure races & long distance orienteering events. Paul is still an active competitor and in recent times Paul has tasted success on the Outfront Events’ team at the 52 hour Beast Adventure Race in Donegal and placed 1st & 2nd in the 250km Quest 24 Adventure Race in 2018 & 2019 respectively.

Many folk will also know us as MSAI or Multi Sport Adventure Ireland who have a proven track record having been involved in organising many events since 2010 – We are the same team with a broader brand name.

As active participants, we’ve competed in many varied events worldwide over the past 20 years, raced in all conditions, suffered bad luck and injuries, and shared the joy of enjoying our experiences and making many friends along the way.

We started organising races because we believe that our experience can help us deliver great events for you to enjoy at a fair cost. We are truly passionate about delivering the best race experience for you on race day. It is hard to please all of the people all of the time, but that is our goal for every Outfront event and we look forward to continuing this in 2021 and beyond
